Post-It Note Art

accio-donna-noble asked: Hey, I love the idea of making stuff with post-its. Do you use the brand name Post-It Notes or just the cheaper, non-brand ones? Thanks. :D

Some of them are the smaller 1 7/8 inch by 1 7/8 inch brand name post-its mostly for less complicated designs. For more complicated ones I use cheap colored note paper (unlined) which I cut 1 inch by 1 inch pieces using a scrapbook paper puncher an then tape each piece by hand (a slow and tiring process :P haha) so the project doesn’t take up the whole wall and I can use black as well (which I couldn’t find as a post-it).

I would suggest using the small post-its since it makes it easier to just stick on the wall and I don’t think the brand matters all the much (I just happened to have lots of that brand lying around lol).
